KEBE – Northern Greece Ceramics Industry opened its doors to the public as part of OPEN HOUSE Thessaloniki 2025

The Northern Greece Ceramics Industry – KEBE participated actively in this year’s OPEN HOUSE Thessaloniki 2025 as a Volunteer Sponsor, supporting a large team of 500 volunteers and contributing significantly to connecting the city with architectural creativity and its cultural identity. This initiative forms part of the company’s broader ESG strategy and reaffirms its commitment to creating “a structurally better world,” highlighting the pivotal role of ceramics manufacturing in bringing architectural visions to life.

As part of this collaboration, a Factory Tour was organized specifically for the public on November 19, 2025, at KEBE’s manufacturing plant. The 40 participants had the opportunity to explore KEBE’s facilities and learn about the company’s 90-year history—a Greek family-owned business that holds a leading position in the ceramics industry and maintains a strong presence in more than 40 international markets. They were also able to witness the company’s high-level production processes and technological know-how, and understand how KEBE’s products contribute to the implementation of contemporary architectural applications.

Guided by company executives, visitors toured all stages of the production process, from raw material preparation to tile and brick manufacturing. Participants had the chance to observe firsthand the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technologies that define the company’s structural solutions, ensuring high-quality applications that meet the demands of today’s construction sector.

KEBE’s President & CEO, Agis Kothalis, stated:
“Our collaboration with OPEN HOUSE Thessaloniki is not just a sponsorship; it is a targeted investment in the city, its people, and its architectural identity. As a company with 90 years of history and a strong manufacturing base, we are an integral part of architectural creation, providing the foundation upon which the future is built. We consider it our responsibility to support initiatives that promote culture, knowledge, and innovation.”
